Proudly presenting the Florida Coastal Hammock Collection, a tribute to one of nature's most quietly stunning ecosystems. This fashion collection,  commissioned by the City of Miami, in collaboration with NOAA, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, the Florida Coastal Management Program, and Miami Parks and Recreation, began as interpretative signs for the park’s trail. It celebrates the vital role of the coastal hammock in protecting the shoreline and preserving unique biodiversity.

Often overlooked due to its subtle beauty, the coastal hammock is a refuge for a diverse array of birds, reptiles, and insects, thriving among sea grapes, prickly ash, and mangroves. This project commemorates the successful preservation of the Virginia Key Coastal Hammock, restored to its original balance after decades of dedicated conservation efforts.
